Rick & Brenda both train with methods they adjust to the individual needs of each dog. They train all dogs to a completely broke level unless otherwise requested by the owner.

Brenda began training and showing dogs in obedience and finished several Utility dogs and one Obedience Champion. When transferring to training field dogs, she applied some of the methods and timing learned in years of obedience. This foundation of training force-fetch also carried over to her field training. Rick and Brenda share the same force retrieving methods which prove beneficial to finish many NSTRA dogs, hunt test dogs, and dogs for everyday hunting.

Rick trained dogs for hunting, field trials, and hunt tests in Arizona for twelve years.  He also guided wild bird and preserve hunts before coming to South Carolina where he was the head trainer for the prestigious Brays Island Plantation for two years.

Rick and Brenda have been in Ga training together for 14 years. They have finished many Master Hunters, Senior Hunters, and AKC Field Champions.  Also including our Dual Champion titles, and NAVHDA Utility title. Combined we have finished over 50 NSTRA Champions.

We offer a "puppy program" that enables young dogs to get off to the right start in their field experience and lays the proper foundation for the formal training that comes later.
